Haar leerlingen waren aanvankelijk Chinese kinderen geboren in Nederland en later ook volwassenen. Tot nu toe doceerde ze Chinees aan het Volksuniversiteit in Papendrecht (sinds 2010), aan het Johan de Witt Gymnasium (sinds 2016) en het Zuider Gymnasium voor hoogbegaafde kinderen in Rotterdam (sinds 2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Het lesgeven aan middelbare scholieren is een hele uitdaging. De inhoud van de lessen moet levendig en gevarieerd zijn om deze slimme, nieuwsgierige tieners bezig te houden met het verbeteren van hun lees-, spreek-, luister- en schrijfvaardigheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Naast lesgeven op scholen en instellingen geeft Xiaonan ook priv\u00e9lessen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Priv\u00e9lessen zijn altijd ontworpen met een bepaald doel voor ogen. De leerlingen van Xiaonan vari\u00ebren van adoptieouders van kinderen die in China zijn geboren, die erop gebrand zijn dat hun adoptiekinderen de band met hun geboorteland behouden, tot HBO studenten die voor examens studeren, en zakenmensen die relaties willen aangaan met bedrijven in China. Elke student kan vertrouwen op een weloverwogen programma dat is ontworpen om de beste resultaten te behalen, met ruimte om te groeien en te leren van andere studenten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">De Chinese cultuur is een integraal onderdeel van de Chinese lessen van Xiaonan. Xiaonan vertelt graag studenten over de traditionele Chinese festivals (en neemt ze soms mee op uitstapjes om deel te nemen aan de vieringen!), deelt Kung Fu-thee, maakt dumplings samen met studenten en geeft les in kalligrafie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Elke student voelt zich welkom in de lessen van Xiaonan. Waar Xiaonan bijzonder trots op is, is dat sommige van haar studenten al meer dan tien jaar bij haar zijn en een hoog vaardigheidsniveau bereiken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Tijdens haar vijftien jaar lesgeven heeft Xiaonan vertrouwen en vriendschap opgebouwd in haar relaties met haar studenten.
